Dr. K N S Lakshmi
Head of the Department
The Department of Artificial Intelligence was established in 2025. The department aims to provide high-quality education and research opportunities in the field of Artificial Intelligence. The program is designed to equip students with strong foundations in core computing principles, data structures, algorithms, programming, and software development.
The department also encourages research, innovation, participation in technical competitions, workshops, and hackathons to enhance students' analytical and creative thinking skills.
Message: The message of the Artificial Intelligence Department can be understood in two key contexts: In the societal context, the department aims to create a positive social, economic, and environmental impact by equipping graduates with the knowledge and skills needed to solve real-world problems using AI. In the context of higher education and the job market, the department focuses on producing graduates with essential skills and expertise gained during the program.
